The Stonz Commitment

Stonz is committed to doing everything possible to protect the environment while producing high-quality, functional products for children. Our products can be used through multiple children as they are durable and machine washable.  Stonz Booties are also versatile enough to be worn throughout several weather seasons, reducing the need to purchase a large variety of shoes for every weather condition.

At Stonz headquarters, we all take steps to reduce energy consumption and minimize waste. We believe that every action counts, no matter how small. Here are some specific things we are doing:

                Production

·         We support local suppliers, workers, and local economy.

·         We produce high quality products that are easily washed for use through multiple children.

·         In our warehouse, we store products in large cloth bags instead of plastic, which are reused over and over again every season.   

·         We use a single hanger instead of packaging with plastic bags

    Shipping

·         We avoid using new boxes whenever possible; large shipments to retailers often go out in reused boxes.

·         All products sent to retailers are sent with a hanger instead of being individually packed in boxes or plastic.

·         Shipments to consumers go out in reused boxes, small recycled boxes, or recycled paper envelopes.

·         Gift packaging to consumers is a reusable cloth bag and white tissue, not plastic gift boxes.

·         Shipping and return labels are printed on the same sheet of paper.

·         For just an additional $0.10, customers can choose a shipping option that reduces their carbon footprint.

    In the Office

·         All bottles, plastic, aluminum and paper products are recycled.

·         The kitchen is stocked with reusable cups, plates, and cutlery.

·         We recycle all ink cartridges.

·         We use recycled binders.

·         We never print unless it’s absolutely necessary
